This policy explains what information CleanCompare (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, reach us through our contact page.

Information we collect

What you give us when you request a cleaning or ask a question: your name, mobile number, street address or ZIP code, the rooms and extras you choose, your preferred day and time, and any notes or questions you write.
Messages: if you text or call us, we keep the messages and call details so we can help you.
Basic technical information: like any website, our hosting provider records things such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. We also note which ad or link brought you to the site.

How we use it

To send your request to the cleaning company you chose and arrange your appointment.
To call or text you about your request, your appointment or your question.
To run, protect and improve the website, including stopping spam and abuse.
To understand which of our ads and pages work, so we can improve them.

Who we share it with

The cleaning company you choose. We share your name, phone number, address and job details with that company so it can do the job. The company is an independent business and handles your information under its own practices.
Service providers that run the website for us, such as website hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase) and email delivery (Resend). They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, the companies we work with or us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages and calls

When you send a request or a question, you agree that CleanCompare and the cleaning company you chose may call or text you at the number you gave about that request. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Cookies and advertising

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to make the site work, for example to remember the home size you entered and the city from the ad you clicked. We may also use advertising and analytics tools from Google and Meta (Facebook) to measure how our ads perform. These tools may use cookies to recognize your browser. You can manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com and Meta ad settings in your Facebook account, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep request and message records for as long as we need them to provide our service, keep business records and meet legal requirements, and then delete them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you. To do that, reach us through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
